Colt 1886 Comanche .45 cavalry model: conversion

a true american gun if ever there was. this little beauty has been converted to fire typical .45 colt centerfire rounds. this is a rare version used in quelling the indian rebellions and the fighting in the pacific. it is a collectors item, however it's rugged frame, and ease of repair mean that often you find them in working conditions and if not only about a minute and a half later after some maintenance it's back in order. it uses (for ease of production)the same mechanisms as the 1873 model that tamed the west.
